Drover Intelligence Inc.

Terms

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of droverintelligence.com and the Drover Intelligence service. By using the website or an account, you agree to these Terms. If you use Drover on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

What Drover provides

Drover provides commercial, trade and regulatory intelligence designed to help businesses and advisors identify developments that may affect revenue, costs, markets, suppliers, customers or compliance decisions. Drover may monitor public sources, relate developments to the business context you provide, generate alerts and Decision Briefs, and help you explore possible next steps.

Drover is decision-support software. It is not a law firm, customs broker, accounting firm, tax advisor or other regulated professional service, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional. You remain responsible for your decisions and for verifying material facts, classifications, effective dates and legal requirements before acting.

Founding list, access and trial

Joining the founding list is free. It does not create a paid subscription, guarantee that access will be offered, or start a trial. We may onboard founding members in small groups and may limit, delay or decline access where capacity, product fit, security or other operational considerations require it.

When a workspace is offered, your seven-day trial begins only after your access is ready and you have confirmed the business details needed to set up your watch. We will identify the trial start and end dates in the product or in the access communication we send you.

Any paid plan, founding rate, renewal rate, billing interval, taxes and material payment terms will be shown before you subscribe. A paid subscription begins only when you affirmatively choose a paid plan or otherwise agree to an order form. Cancellation, renewal and any refund or proration terms presented at checkout or in an order form form part of these Terms, but they will not reduce your rights under the next paragraph.

There is no lock-in. You may cancel any paid plan, monthly or yearly, at any time by giving one month’s notice from your account settings, or through the contact form on our website. Your plan ends one month after we receive your notice, and you keep access until then. Fees for that notice month remain payable. If you paid upfront for a yearly plan, we will refund the fees for the full months remaining after the notice month, calculated pro rata from the yearly fee you paid. You will not be charged again after your plan ends.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or connected channel has been compromised. You may not share access in a way that defeats plan limits, security controls or organization boundaries.

Your business information

You retain ownership of the business information, files and other content you provide to Drover. You give Drover a limited right to host, process, analyze and transmit that content as necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the service for your organization.

Private customer information is not treated as another customer’s business information. Public-source intelligence may be collected and analyzed once and then matched independently to more than one customer where it is relevant.

Alerts, drafts and actions

Alerts, Decision Briefs, recommended actions, emails, summaries and similar outputs may be generated or assisted by automated systems. They can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Sources can change after publication, and a public source may itself contain errors.

A draft or recommendation is not a filing, legal opinion, customs determination, completed transaction or message already sent. Where Drover offers a send, export or connected-channel action, you remain responsible for reviewing and authorizing it before it leaves the service.

Messaging and connected services

Drover may make intelligence available through the web application, email, PDF briefs or connected channels such as WhatsApp or Slack, depending on your plan, setup and availability. Third-party channels and integrations are optional and are also subject to the terms, policies, availability and technical requirements of their providers.

A channel shown on the website does not guarantee that it is available for every customer, geography or use case. We may add, change, suspend or remove integrations as the service develops.

Acceptable use

You may not use Drover to:

Intellectual property

Drover Intelligence Inc. and its licensors retain all rights in the website, software, branding, workflows, models, interfaces and other service materials, excluding your content and third-party materials. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Drover for your internal business purposes during your authorized access.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

Third-party services and sources

Drover relies on third-party infrastructure, data sources, model providers, communications services and other vendors. We do not control third-party content or availability and are not responsible for changes made by those providers. Links and citations are provided to help you review source material; they do not imply endorsement or guarantee accuracy.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete source coverage, or that every relevant development will be detected.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other customers or third parties; address security or legal concerns; respond to non-payment; or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drover is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and any warranty that the service will identify every risk or opportunity, produce a particular business outcome, or be legally sufficient for your circumstances.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drover Intelligence Inc. and its directors, officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunities, loss of data or business interruption arising from or related to the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Drover for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $100 if you paid no fees. Some laws do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, you and Drover Intelligence Inc. submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia for disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material to an active paid account, we will provide reasonable notice through the service, by email or by another appropriate method. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
